On 28th July 2025, Russian aviation forces conducted 86 air strikes, and used 4,413 kamikaze drones according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (GSAFU).

The areas targeted by air strikes included Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts.

In a Telegram post, the GSAFU said that Russia had dropped 132 guided aerial bombs, and had carried out 5960 artillery attacks on Ukrainian troop positions as well as populated areas.

85 of these attacks used multiple launch rocket systems, it said.

The GSAFU said that Ukrainian troops had caused the loss of around 1,000 Russian troops, along with several hundred military vehicles and weapons systems.
